Career

Manmohan Shetty started his career as short film-maker after coming out of FTII, Pune. He also started a small lab, to process 16mm films. His lab, used to be known as the Adlabs, (later took over by Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group), processes more than 80% of Bollywood films. He produced many films, including Chakra, Ardh Satya, Hip Hip Hurray, Holi and Aagahat. He is the first to open multiplex cinema in the country with the largest dome screen in the world and the first multiplex cinema in Mumbai. His production company, Entertainment One, has also produced films like, Gangaajal, Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon, Inteha, Munnabhai M.B.B.S. and Dev. In 2008 he floated a new company christened as Walkwater Media. Walkwater is in the business of production of motion pictures and animation feature content.[2]

Personal life

Manmohan Shetty is married and has a daughter, Pooja Shetty, who is married to politician, Milind Deora.[3]
